Mastering the Account Overview Page

Get a high-level snapshot of your account performance, compare time periods, and unlock AI-driven creative insights.

The Account Overview page is your command center for understanding how your Meta ad account is performing at a glance. It combines real-time data visualization with AI intelligence to help you identify what’s working, what needs attention, and where your next big opportunity lies.


1. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

At the top of the page, you’ll find your most important metrics. By default, we show you the last 14 days compared to the 14 days before.

  • Customizable Metrics: Click the toolbar to swap out KPIs like Spend, ROAS, CPA, or CTR.

  • Performance Benchmarks: Each card shows a percentage change, making it easy to see if your performance is trending up or down compared to your previous period.

How to use the Date Range Pickers

The Overview page uses a unique "Comparison" logic:

  1. Current Period: Set this to your primary window (e.g., the last 14 days).

  2. Previous Period: By default, this automatically sets to the period immediately preceding your "Current" choice, but you can customize it to compare against last month or even last year.

2. Creative Intelligence (AI Insights)

Our AI analyzes your delivery data and creative assets to give you three distinct perspectives:

  • Target Persona: Understand exactly who is engaging with your ads.

  • Creative Patterns: Discover the visual or hook styles that are driving the most efficiency.

  • Expansion Ideas: Get actionable suggestions on how to scale or test new angles.

💡 Pro Tip: Click "Ask AI detailed questions" on any insight card to open a deep-dive chat about that specific finding.

3. Segments & Markets

Understand the "Where" and "Who" of your delivery:

  • Breakdowns: Toggle between Demographics (Age & Gender) and Placement (Instagram vs. Facebook, Stories vs. Feed) to see which segments are your most profitable.

  • Market Drill-down: View performance by country. Click on any country bar to drill down further into specific Regions to see exactly where your customers are located.

4. Top Campaigns

The Campaigns table lists your top-performing efforts.

  • Sort & Filter: Sort by any column to find your highest-spending or highest-ROAS campaigns.

  • Quick Reports: Hover over a campaign name and click "View Campaign Report" to instantly generate a detailed creative report focused specifically on that campaign’s assets.

5. Performance Trend

The chart at the bottom of the page shows your trajectory over time.

  • Flexible Intervals: Use the "Split by" dropdown to view your data in daily, 7-day, or 14-day "chunks" to smooth out volatility and see the real trend.

  • Dual-Metric View: Compare two metrics simultaneously (e.g., Spend vs. ROAS) to see how they correlate over time.
