Overview

The Launch Report helps you quickly track ads launched since a selected date and organize them into performance-based segments. Create simple or advanced filters to identify “Scaled,” “Winners,” or any other category that matters to you.

Creating a Launch Report

  1. Click "+ New Report" in Creative Analytics

  2. Choose "Launch Report"

  3. Your report opens automatically

Key Features

1. Launch Date Filter

Set a "Launched since" date to limit all data to ads launched on or after that point. Use presets (Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, etc.) or choose a custom date.

This is ideal for isolating recent campaigns or comparing different launch periods.

2. Segments

Segments help you categorize ads based on performance:

  • Launched (default): All ads launched since your selected date

  • Custom Segments: Up to 4 segments with your own names, icons, and filters

Each segment shows its name, matching ad count, and a short description of its criteria.

3. Configuring Segments

  1. Click "Configure"

  2. Edit or add up to 4 custom segments

  3. For each segment:

    • Choose an icon

    • Name the segment

    • Add metric filters (ROAS, Spend, CTR, etc.)

    • Remove segments as needed

Examples:

  • Scaled: ROAS > 1.5 AND Spend > $500

  • Winners: ROAS > 2.0 AND Impressions > 10,000

4. Benchmarks

When adding filters, you’ll see your account’s average for the selected date range. Click “Use avg for these dates” to automatically populate the value and adjust as needed.

5. Viewing Segment Data

Click any segment card to see matching ads in the table. The title will indicate:

“X ads are [Segment Name] out of Y launched.”

6. Additional Filters

Add global filters (properties, naming conventions, etc.) that apply to all segments. These pair with your segment filters for deeper precision.

Best Practices

  • Start small with 1–2 segments

  • Use clear names (e.g., “Q4 Winners”)

  • Rely on benchmarks to set realistic thresholds

  • Combine metrics for stronger targeting

  • Update regularly as campaigns evolve

Troubleshooting

  • Empty segment? Check filters or adjust the launch date

  • Max segments reached? Limit is 4 custom segments

  • Counts show 0? Configure or loosen filter criteria
